Job Description:
Safety Officer (Kemaman)
We are an established Oil & Gas company specialised in Offshore & Onshore Construction Support Services, Hook-Up and Commissioning & Topside Major Maintenance.
Job description:-
o Oversee Safety, Health & Environmental operation of the yard & other work sites
o Monitor safety procedures and prepare detail reports for site safety performance
o Carry out/conduct internal and external auditing, prepare audits report on the findings
o Investigate personal injuries and other accident/incident and make recommendation for improvement to prevent recurrence.
o Make regular inspections of working areas and advise management of their findings.
o Liaise with the Project Manger to identify safety training requirement within the company
o Prepare daily report SHE performance – SHE stats, UCUA findings.
o Carry out equipment check and file check report.
o Consult with client nominated personnel to ascertain compliance to their SHE requirement.
Job requirement:-
• Must be a DOSH registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) - with valid green book
• Minimum Diploma in Health & Safety, Engineering or equivalent
• At least six (6) year of working experience in the related field.
• Competent with MS office suite (Excel, Words, PowerPoint)
• Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken)
• Responsible, attentive to details, prompt with follow-up and organized
